Fox or Dove?

Are you a Fox or a Dove? All women exhibit typical Fox and Dove qualities at one time or another, but you’re determining the general type that’s your “center of gravity.” So, click the link at the bottom of the column that describes you better.

Fox Dove
A Fox is more sociable by nature. A Dove is by nature more reserved.
In her work, her priorities are flexibility, freedom, social interaction. She’s inherently more creative. In her work, her priorities are structure, clarity, consistency. She’s inherently more orderly.
In romance, she wants a man who’s sociable like her, one who can be charming: an energetic Wolf. In romance, she wants a man who’s reserved like her, one who’s private and calm: a focused Hawk.
Foxes and Doves evolved to embody different human mating strategies, which is why the questions below concern mating and dating.

You’ve got a husband you love very much. He dies in his 50s. Would you look for another man?
Yes, I would. It would take some time to get over my loss, but eventually I would want to be with another man. No, I wouldn’t. What’s the point in trying? He was my One Man, the love of my life. He could never be replaced.
How do you feel about dating? The prospect of going out with different men?
It can be pleasant. I have enjoyed going out on dates with different boys/men. I’ve liked meeting them, and they’ve liked meeting me. It’s mostly a chore. I’ve never been into dating different boys/men. I just wanted to find the right man for me, without all the hassle.
Assuming you’re single, how would you flirt with a man you found attractive?
I’d invite his interest. I’d give him a smile, flip my hair, tilt my head. I might even touch him on the shoulder or arm. I’d gauge his interest. I’d make eye contact, smile, then look away. Then I’d wait to see if he showed interest in me.
Where would you rather meet a man?
I’d rather meet him at a square dance. I’d get a chance to meet and talk with a dozen or so men, and find out up close which one I was really drawn to. I’d rather meet him at the library. I’d see a special man, focus on him and him alone, and find out from across the room if I felt any connection to him.
Which column describes you better?
The descriptions in this column sound more like me. I think I’m a Fox. The descriptions in this column sound more like me. I think I’m a Dove.
