Hunting Wolf

The Hunting Wolf is the Wolf who ranges afield to find adventure and abundance. Less intense than the Fighting Wolf, the Hunting Wolf is still assertive, but more laid-back.

Mark Foley

At heart, he’s like Poseidon, the god of the sea who wielded a trident and had many consorts. Mark Foley, professional fly fishing guide, is a good example of this type.

His natural strength is achieving a goal.

The Hunting Wolf tends to favor non-combat sports such as baseball, volleyball, and tennis. He’s competitive, but not obsessively so, and enjoys being part of a group of people working towards a specific goal.

Because he’s both alert and a bit relaxed, he can seem sly at times. It’s this relaxed air, however, that makes him a steady presence. He usually reaches whatever goal he sets out to achieve, with fun along the way and no undue drama.

What matters most to him is being active.

The Hunting Wolf likes being outdoors, especially in natural environments where Mother Nature is in evidence. He’s fond of Foxes, and may pair off with one who’s particularly energetic.

His affinity for the Feminine also makes him good with people in general. His essence is that of an explorer/ambassador who likes to master new situations and make new friends.

He’s energetic and congenial.

The Hunting Wolf will have alert eyes and a composed air. His aspect is both relaxed and energetic. His everyday clothes will be comfortable and structured, such as khakis and a collared shirt.

He enjoys the company of others, especially in outdoor activities like bicycling, hiking, swimming, etc. He might say, “It’s almost bowhunting season,” or, “Who’s up for a trip to the pub?”

His intensity profile:
